Gays are all somebody’s children
They’re sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles too
Some are lawyers, some are teachers
Some are doctors, some are preachers
And they work in many places just like you

Yes, they need some recognition
For too many people put them down
Let them have a day of pride here
We are glad that they reside here
All good citizens are welcome in our town!
